If you are secretly missing the rain and desperately like to get wet while vacationing in Aruba, what should you do?
Have you noticed that Aruba didn't get much rain last year? Climate prediction centers continue to suggest a high likelihood that a significant El Nino will continue through the fall and winter months bringing further drought to the Caribbean.
1. Aruba is surrounded by the crystal clear Caribbean Sea, so one of the first things to do is get your snorkels and get wet by jumping in the sea.
Pick either Arashi Beach, Mangel Halto or Baby Beach and enjoy the variety of beautiful fish the Caribbean Sea has to offer.
2. Another way to get wet is by visiting our north coast.
While Aruba's south coast has beautiful golden beaches with gentle rolling waves, the north coast is something else! The north coast is rough and rocky. High waves rumble on the shores, creating magical rainbows. The best place to enjoy these huge waves is at the Natural Bridge.
3. About 2 miles from Villa Heart of Aruba, you'll find Aruba Waterpark at Hooiberg.
If you are tired of the Caribbean Sea visit Aruba Waterpark and get wet in their large pool with long slides. The waterpark is open Friday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.

4. If you like a more luxury all-inclusive experience we recommend you check out Palm Island.
There are plenty of ways to get wet there. You can either go snorkeling or take your kids to the kid's waterpark or upgrade your ticket to go for a Sea Trek (underwater helmet walk) or SNUBA. Palm Island is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You can get there by taking a ferry boat ride.

5. Did you know Aruba has a Natural Pool, called Conchi?
You can find the Natural Pool in Aruba's Natural Park Arikok. There are a few ways to get there. You can either drive your car to ........ or take a Jeep or ATV Tour with one of Aruba's many tour companies. They will take you close to the Natural Pool and you will have to walk the last bit. Another option is by horseback by Rancho Loco Aruba.
You can get wet by jumping in the Natural Pool and enjoy a close-up view of a spectacular water show.
Because the sea sometimes is too rough we advise checking the tides and making sure that you go there during low tide.

6. A banana boat excursion along Aruba's shoreline is the perfect way to get wet without getting tired.
Take a ride on the dual banana and enjoy the thrill of being pulled by a speedboat while in the water. Hold on tight as you are pulled, or you might slip in the water! There are several watersports companies at the beach of the highrise hotels that offer Banana Boat rides.
If you would like to know more about the weather forecast, check the local Meteorological Department Aruba instead of sites like the weather channel, or any other US-based site. These sites will forecast rain from September till February. If it rains in Aruba, the showers are usually very local, during the night or early morning hours, which often last no longer than 5 minutes.
